The Always Positive Foundation was established in December, 2003, as the creation of Always Positive, Inc.'s, Chief Executive Officer and founder, Bob Rusch. Bob conceived an organization whose actions in the community would model the Always Positive attitude, namely, that the world is in need of unselfish and outward-looking deeds, fueled by a commitment to the welfare of individuals, particularly battered women and children.
Between 1995 and 2000, Bob's role at Always Positive, Inc., was to create numerous causerelated marketing alliances between retail giants, such as Wal-Mart, and the Eckerd Drug Corporation, and The Children's Miracle Network. These consumer-driven programs not only raised awareness for The Children's Miracle Network, but also financially benefited over 170 Children's Hospitals around the country from proceeds of Always Positive products sold at retail.
In 2001, Bob repositioned Always Positive, Inc., into a sales and marketing organization that helps individuals and businesses understand and implement "Relationship Marketing Best Practices" in their business. In doing so, the Always Positive apparel brand disappeared from the retail shelf, but its message of "Hope" soon became the impetus for the creation of the Always Positive Foundation. The message was still relevant, but now it needed legs. Finally, in 2003, after much hard work and prayers, the Always Positive Foundation became a reality.
Bob lives in Poway, California, with his wife, Carole. He has two children and enjoys coaching and attending all of their sporting events, as well as enjoying golf and travel. He is active in the lives of his family, friends, and now - complete strangers!
